Recycled Polyester Fabrics with Clear Composition Information

For recycled fabric sourcing, first establish which component is recycled and its proportion in the blend. Wu Luen offers 100% recycled polyester fabrics and stretch blends containing recycled polyester and spandex.

Read the Recycled Content by Product Code

• T5L3860 : 100% recycled polyester.
• T5M1490 : 100% recycled polyester.
• T5S2764 : 84% recycled polyester and 16% spandex.

For example, T5S2764 lists 84% recycled polyester and 16% spandex. That composition identifies the recycled polyester share; it does not state that the spandex component is recycled.

Keep Material Content, Certification and Performance Separate

• Recycled content: confirm the material type and percentage for the selected fabric.
• Documentation: state any certification or traceability documents your sourcing process requires, then confirm their applicability to the material and order.
• Performance: assess weight, construction, stretch or other functions against the intended use.

Recycled content alone does not establish biodegradability or a specific environmental saving. Any such claim needs separate evidence.
