Specify the Tests Your Project Needs
- Pool use: state any chlorine-exposure and durability criteria you need to confirm.
- Outdoor use: identify any UV-protection testing required for the selected fabric.
- Garment construction: confirm stretch and recovery, weight, width, lining needs and coverage in the intended design.
A nylon or polyester blend should not be assumed to meet every swimwear requirement. Chlorine resistance, UV protection and quick-drying performance need to be checked for the individual fabric and relevant test conditions.
