Sustainable Development
The operation of an enterprise is closely related to the environment. How to incorporate various aspects into our decision-making process is a constant question Wu Luen ponder. We integrate environmental considerations into our decision-making across various aspects. We foster constructive interactions and collaborate with upstream and downstream manufacturers in the industry. We reject any unfair competition that disrupts the industrial structure and move towards a green supply chain. For example, participating in water resource matching in industrial zones. Wastewater from other factories is treated and reused as process water at Sun Luen (dyeing and finishing factory), promoting efficient water resource utilization. Through these partnerships, both parties contribute to a prosperous future for the textile industry.
Not only that, We value talent as one of the key elements that companies should prioritize. Therefore, creating a workplace that is interactive, promotes gender equality, and adheres to the correct ethical management standards, allowing employees to excel in a high-quality environment and receive positive feedback.
Additionally, we actively enhance environmental awareness among our workforce, facilitating the smooth implementation of environmental protection initiatives and inspiring innovative actions. During normal times, we implement environmental protection policies in the office— such as using air conditioning in moderation, paper recycling, and lights-off measures at noon to conserve energy and resources. In recent years, Wu Luen has been continuously improving its manufacturing processes and launching eco-friendly fabrics. From a macro perspective, Wu Luen is managing its business step by step to get closer to the ideal green enterprise, aiming to protect future generations from the impacts of environmental changes.
Recycled Polyester
- Using recycled PET bottles as raw materials allows for the transformation of PET bottle waste into single-use products, effectively reducing environmental pollution. Additionally, it enables the creation of fabrics that offer a wide range of applications and superior performance.
Recycled Nylon
- Using discarded fishing nets, scraps, and nylon fabrics as raw materials to produce multi-purpose regenerated nylon fibers helps reduce environmental damage caused by waste materials. This approach also decreases the reliance on petrochemical raw materials and lowers carbon dioxide emissions.
Dope Dyed
- Color is added at the raw material stage, minimizing the need for extensive dyeing and finishing processes. This approach significantly reduces wastewater and exhaust gas emissions, thereby greatly improving environmental impact. Additionally, products manufactured this way exhibit excellent color fastness to sunlight and washing, ensuring superior performance of the finished goods.
- The yarn is sourced locally, eliminating unnecessary transportation processes to reduce carbon footprint and save on manpower, thereby creating a low-pollution supply chain.
- We continuously enhance our management system with the concept of green management, adopting a more comprehensive environmental thinking model from sourcing to end customer service. Actively applying for multiple environmental certifications, hoping to lead by example and drive a green trend in the industry.
